What's Emu Oil?
Where does it come from?
What Can It Do?
Emu Oil is derived from the Emu, a flightless
bird native to Australia. The Aborigines of Australia have used
the oil for healing purposes for hundreds of years. The Emu Oil
is applied topically and has many healing benefits and properties.
The oil is used to treat many ailments including, but not limited
to the following: damaged skin,
eczema, psoriasis, arthritis, Carpal Tunnel, burns, cuts, insect
bites / stings, muscle inflammation, diaper rash. The rendered Emu Oil is pure sterile, non-toxic,
non-clogging and extremely healthy for the skin. Emu Oil is rich
in Omega-3
essential fatty acid (the body's building blocks), Vitamin A (nature's
skin repairer) and Vitamin E (highest concentration of any natural animal
or vegetable extract, a major anti-oxidant and healing agent),
Terpine
(natural antiseptic), Aspagens (skin softeners), Oleic
Acid (cell regenerator, anti-wrinkle
and aging), Linoleic Acid (anti arthritic - rheumatoid & osteo, &
anti-inflammatory). Modern science has said that its the closest
to human skin oil in nature, making it very deep penetrating, up to 7 layers of skins in
scientific studies leaving little
or no greasy residue on the skin's surface.
We breed and raise our own emu on our
Canadian farm so that we can control and ensure a high quality,
drug free product. The emu are also harvested for their delicious
and nutritious red meat, leather, feathers and their eggs
